Review on Polk Floorstanding Long Throw Certified Adjustable Home Audio by Beth Martin

These speakers were ordered but never delivered. So I found them locally and they are awesome, I've been using a good trash receiver since I'm on the app (the A21 Parasonic Halo is too good for love paired with towers) but paired with center and alone for music they sound ok, ie I would say they deserve over 150 watts of clean power to come alive but I have a long list of decent speakers to compare them to. I played music with them for about 10 hours, the rest at a low volume, so I can't say they're sufficiently decomposed. The sound is closed, the highs are not harsh and not like a metal overload, although not harsh, they are very soft but present. In my current setup with these speakers, the sound isn't amazing, but experience tells me that if you can fit large format speakers and couple them with power and an additional external subwoofer, they will grow in space accordingly. Boxing is good and in a very nice cover. These are heavy! Well made and worth the money in my opinion.
