I bought this screen to install a Raspberry Pi Retropie I'm working on. Keep in mind that while it uses HDMI instead of GPIO for display, it's by no means a plug-and-play screen and does require a bit of customization. However, I used the configuration method in user "thomas" comment and after a reboot it worked fine. It can draw power directly from the Pi using GPIO, but when the Pi starts drawing a lot of power (when the CPU/GPU is working hard for some reason) the screen can't draw enough power and turns white. and stop working so well. So if you're using graphics-intensive software, you'll need to connect the display to a separate power source via the microUSB on the side. Overall a great screen, great refresh rate, good size - perfect for any portable projects you have.
