The goods do not last

Everything was fine for the first two weeks. In the third week, the alarm clock stopped ringing when the time was up. By week five it took a little persuasion to get the colored part of the timer to work and a few days later it stopped working. It's a cute little timer, but it would be nice if it lasted longer than five weeks.
