I plugged this into a DC outlet (like a cigarette lighter) to track how much/fast my CPAP's battery is draining so I can plan a hike. The instructions are practically useless. I've included my own chart along with some photos. First I swapped + and - in the outlet. My CPAP obviously has reverse protection, so everything survived. After 20-30 minutes of troubleshooting I finally figured out my error and fixed it. I checked with a CHEAP voltammeter and the current reading is close enough for my use. The voltage reading is lower than the CHEAP meter, but this meter seems closer than the Freebie meter. I have a FLUKE multimeter that I will use to calibrate if I decide it is necessary. I've only been using this setup for 2 days. I plan to rebuild it to allow for a neater install.
