Review on Spider Tool Holster: Enhance Your Belt-Carrying Experience for Power Drill, Driver, Multitool, Pneumatic, and More by Mike Castro

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The first impression is very good.

Tired of my Makita impact wrench sitting on my toes with the standard holster that came with my tool belt, looked to Revain and it seemed like the best choice. While they look really good, it's amazing how you can quickly put them on and take them off without looking (with a little practice). You have the option of reinforcing the velcro elastic with a zipper, the handle has a hole in the bottom for this. I use it on all bands for reassurance, why not? One thing I don't like is the ability to turn off the lockout feature by pushing the lever all the way up until it clicks. It's too easy to do by accident and I don't think you'll ever want it blocked. I've learned to test the switch with my thumb every time I holster it, it's a good habit if you use that. Time will tell, I'll update it after using it for a while.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive
