This catalytic converter is easy to install if you have the right tools. I was able to remove my old catalytic converter and install this in about 2 hours. I struggled to remove my original catalytic converter just because the bolts were rusted and it took us a while to remove it. As a result, I had to cut out the catalytic converter and get better access to the bolts. Installing the new catalytic converter was really easy, just 6 volts and done. Before you begin, make sure you have the right tools for the job. I would also prefer to get a heat shield on the cat, that makes a difference.
