The product to which this review applies is the WZRELB DC/AC Stand Alone Inverter, 12 Volt, 2500 Watt, Pure Sine Wave. I love that this product works well for my solar inverter needs. It easily charges my e-car with 110V and 1380W (according to the modification mentioned below). I found the fans that were activated in this device for cooling to be quite loud at 76 dB. I would recommend not being in the same room as the inverter you intend to use if you are using this inverter for fairly heavy loads. The fan can easily drown out the music I'm listening to with my headphones. I also didn't find the documentation on grounding this device to be entirely accurate. This can reassure the user, who may not have a ground indicator device, that they are safe, although a short circuit may actually put them in danger of electrical break dancing. The documentation states that the device can be grounded using the screw and nut on the bottom of the device. What it doesn't tell you is that the sockets on the front of the device are not connected to this screw in any way inside. So it would be useless to connect anything on that stud outside of the device to any kind of ground structure. It includes a cable block on the front of the device. Luckily, I noticed that by connecting the unit's ground to the ground nut, and then the ground nut to the ground structure, the circuits for both front outputs were amusingly grounded. This convinced me that I had at least some electrical knowledge that wouldn't allow this device to explode and fry my ass. Hooray! I believe that in life you get what you pay for. This device is extremely competitive which my budget appreciates. However, knowing what I'm doing now, I would NOT buy this product again, but I would recommend it to all solar energy enthusiasts.
