My mother got sick last night and wanted me to order her a thermometer, preferably a digital forehead thermometer. He arrived today. I opened the box, read the instructions and put two batteries inside. The instructions said to warm up the infrared sensors with the palm of your hand once or twice, which I did. Then I tried it on my own forehead and he said my temp was 91F. I tried it on my mom and it said she was 114F. I told her we were both dead and that an inaccurate thermometer was officially the least of our worries. I went to Amazon to look up information about the product and figured I could at least find some information on Google. Maybe I used it wrong? That's when I realized they didn't even send me what I ordered. At least if it worked I probably wouldn't have realized I got the wrong model I ordered but still. I'll send it back and try again with something else.
