Perfect replacement. I'm not sure if this is actually an OEM part that was sold under a different brand as others have stated here, but I can say I installed it on my 2004 Touareg in about 20 minutes and all 7 could secure fasteners and buttons perfectly. everything works again without problems and it is quieter than the original. (And a lot quieter than the original after bearing failure!). Tip after doing this twice (tried with the WD-40 original, to no avail): First secure the top two screws but don't fully tighten - then you can wiggle the unit to line up the holes. on the remaining screws.
