Review on Homevative Bamboo Shoe Bench by Alex Marshall

Not as strong as I thought! See update

The base was very easy to assemble. I just did it in a few minutes. However, the seat was difficult to attach as there were no holes or rails. I overcame this problem by getting the seat as level as possible on the base and hammering in some screw holes with the tool and screws provided and a hammer. It wasn't an easy process, it took forever and I was sweating, but the results were good. If you have a drill, be sure to use it. I would say if you don't mind stacking shoes on top of each other it holds about 8 pairs of shoes on the rack and maybe 4 pairs under the rack. Of course it depends on the size of your shoes, but in any case it will suit you. It is attractive and appears to be very durable. Basically I am satisfied with the product. UPDATE: I sat down today and the base broke! I've only had him for a few weeks. I am very disappointed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No mold required
