Review on 🎙️ Enhanced Noise Canceling Microphone - Olympus ME-52W by Jeremy Gums

This will definitely improve the quality of my recordings (I use an Olympus brand recorder). I record great lectures at the lowest quality and they come out great. Sometimes I spend 5 minutes removing background noise with Audacity (it's very easy, just google for a tutorial) and the result is amazing. The mic is directional, so you'll want to point it towards what you're recording, but it tilts up and down so you can place the recorder on a table and point the mic at the speaker's mouth. Please note that Olympus voice recorders have a microphone sensitivity setting. Use Dictation when recording yourself or someone directly in front of you (within a few feet of the microphone), and use Conference to increase sensitivity when recording things like a lecture where the speaker is is more than a few meters away. Audacity can be used to remove background noise and improve speech intelligibility, as well as eliminate noise when you or someone else is typing notes if that's a problem in your recording. I've also used this on my Mac Book for video conferencing and my voice. was MUCH clearer than using the tiny built in mic. It works great when you need a cheap USB audio adapter as the Macbook audio port doesn't work properly with this mic. For the price it's worth every penny. Unless you have a really high quality, expensive voice recorder, this microphone is better than the built-in one.
