Seems to be working fine. The O2 sensor reading is missing from the display of a new device purchased in January 2016. When I called Fieldpiece, they told me that there was some sort of software revision affecting blocks that were built around the time the stem was made (June 2014). , and the only way to tell when the O2 sensor needs replacing is to note the % O2 reading at startup and when it falls below 20.9 it's time for a replacement. I asked what the expected lifespan of this sensor was and was told it would be two to three years from the date of manufacture, not the date it was put into service. It looks like I have 6 to 18 months left for this rather expensive sensor. I was told that (if I was so lucky) the sensor would fail during the warranty period and I could then send the unit in for a possible sensor replacement! How about activating and selling my new device with a new sensor?
