Review on πŸ“ 120mm Japanese Woodworking Marking Gauge with 100mm Scale - Kebiki Tool by Dan Sturm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This meets my needs better than expected.

I've made some templates, I have a double Veritas template, a digital template and some cheap wheel templates. You will never have enough, and each can have its own benefits. I bought this knife edge mark sensor when I needed deeper knife walls. I sanded and adjusted the beam and frame (a few minutes), making sure I didn't polish the wedge to maintain friction. You click to install and configure this tool. and it's easy to feel the stop offset adjustment. My device had a tight blade fit. This is good for stable marking. Point sharpened, draws well. When cutting rabbits. it offers a good edge line. hammered deep enough for sharp edges. It also works well by making slits along the edges to mark the shoulders.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Blank
