The old drum (yellow/gold) has these little teeth that I think lift the paper off the drum. The replacement drum (darker color) does not have these teeth! When attempting to copy and print the job, a sheet of paper is ejected with no toner and then an internal error is reported. As much as I wish this product would work, it doesn't! I bought an original Brother DR820 drum unit and it worked perfectly. I am using a third party toner and everything works as intended with the new drum unit. Maybe I'm married, but it didn't help me. Save time and money by purchasing a genuine replacement drum and cheaper third-party toner.
