They're every bit as good as OEMs at a fraction of the cost. Three filters for $25 versus three for $90. They are easy to insert and fit perfectly. There's nothing magical about the HEPA filter, but you have to be outraged at Miele's overpriced fixed price. I feel like a chump for taking so long to buy them. For that price he should vacuum the whole damn house for me! Some people have complained about the lack of a "sensor" to indicate when it needs to be replaced. Guess what? The Miele bag also doesn't have a pressure gauge. I check both monthly. It is not difficult to check the bag and the filter at the same time. It's not the same as driving a car without a fuel gauge to scream out loud. :-) I'll tell you something: With the money I saved, I bought three first-class rib steaks and six packs of Heineken. I will enjoy them, especially in times of COVID, and toast to VEVA every time.
