Short Verdict: Would give a minus star if there was one. Save some money and look elsewhere! Long story short: I've been using the slow but reliable LinkSys WRT54G for years! And its solid rock. Finally decided to switch to 60Mbps internet service, saw one for sale at Revain and ordered it. When it works, it works well, but only randomly and for a short time. The router's WAN connection is very weak, if any, it takes a long time. And multiple reboots are often required to properly connect to the valid IP address received. Then he held it for a while and started dropping packages here and there indiscriminately. YouTube videos would mysteriously stop mid-stream and websites would take a long time to load. Updating the browser sometimes solves the problem, but more often than not it just speeds up the inevitable. a manual reboot (often multiple) is required to resolve the issue. I then checked the trendnet website, they have newer firmware but that didn't help either. Still misbehaving. Also, the firmware won't boot from my Macbook Pro connected through one of the gigabit ports. This should have been the first indication that its gigabit port was unreliable. Contacted their support team and got some useless suggestions like "make sure you unzip the file and select the bin file to download". But one of the suggestions did not help to download the file - try on another computer. I have an older Win machine with a slower network card, which to my surprise loaded the firmware with no problem. Another sign that the router's gigabit port behaves correctly only at low speeds. After updating the firmware, I began the slow and painful process of making sure it wasn't one of the other network devices that wasn't compatible and that it was a new device. the upgraded cable modem responds. I finally weeded out all the possible options and decided that the problem was with this new router. Brought back my old LinkSys WRT54G, everything is working like a dream again, albeit at a slower speed.
