Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

I bought this model in April 2022, and prior to making the purchase, I read that the scroll on this model eventually stops working. However, I believed that because a lot of time had elapsed from the release of the mouse, they would have been able to address this flaw by that point. Failed. August 2022 marks the beginning of the slow demise of the scroll. Although this has not yet become an extremely serious or noticeable issue, there are situations in which scrolling down the mouse a couple of times will return you to a higher position on the page in a browser, for example, or independently change weapons in a game where there is a change of weapons to the wheel. Because the issue has only recently started to become apparent and I don't want to have to deal with the SC right now, I have refrained from getting in touch with support and a guarantee so far. Another peculiar observation: I attempted to go to the Logitech support website, but it will not let me log into the account to which I registered this mouse; password recovery does not work, and it claims that the account could not be located. This is despite the fact that I registered the mouse the very next day after purchasing it, having created an account on the Logitech website for the very first time; however, I do not wish to register again because doing so will result in me being denied service for "Re-registering a product" If it weren't for this particular "But" with a wheel, it would be an excellent mouse overall; nevertheless, I cannot recommend that you get it. I have high hopes that future mice produced by "logi" would be of a higher quality than this one. Even if there was no problem with the wheel, the mouse is stunning, and it has served me well in terms of its shape, location, and reliability throughout its four months of use, with not a single failure. It is unfortunate that during the next two to three months, the scroll will deteriorate to the point where I will have to transport the mouse to the SC.

Pros
  • +Convenience +Price +Lack of cables +Very quick wireless mouse operation, did not expect that, did not expect that. + It runs for a very long time on regular batteries, and a pack of Duracell is included in the package. + For me, the side buttons are good since they are positioned so that they are comfortable just beneath my fingers.
Cons
  • Marked plastic -Slightly erased the letter G on the body of the mouse - The registered account on the Logitech website disappeared - The wheel itself looks and feels pretty weak, and twisting it is not very pleasurable. - The scroll function stops working (an ongoing issue with this mouse).
