I first fitted my TVs with large, expensive speakers tuned for 5.1 surround sound and needed an expensive sound reinforcement system that was difficult to set up and use. Now I've replaced them all with these computer speakers, which give very good stereo sound; I still find the sound quality satisfactory, although part of the reason may be that my expensive spears were also old and deteriorating over time. The most important feature to look for in a TV to make it work is an audio output on the TV that you can connect your computer speakers to. Some TVs only have an optical input, but there are digital-to-analog audio converters that can solve this problem. For a small, inexpensive speaker I am very impressed with the sound quality it produces and would highly recommend it.
