The first word that comes to mind when describing this jacket is quality. It's so well done. The stitching is immaculate - strong and even. The zipper looks and feels sturdy and is possibly the best I've seen on children's clothing. It snaps into place and slides so easily even my 3 year old has no problem using it. The clasps are strong but snap easily. The outer material is thick and waterproof. The gray inner lining of the main part of the jacket and hood is made of 100% cotton and feels very soft. Cotton cuffs and hood brim are thick, elastic and soft. The hood fastens with a zip and can be easily removed and reattached. There are two pockets that close with buttons. I ordered this jacket in blue and it looks beautiful and exactly like the picture. I washed it in cold water on the gentle cycle and it fits perfectly. My son is 3 years old and I ordered him a size 3T. . It fits great, with some room to grow. The label says 3-4 years. The only thing I would change about this windbreaker is the shape of the hood. I'd rather have it rounder and not as pointed as it is now. However, this is just my personal style preference and I think it looks amazing with the peaked hood design. I highly recommend this cute and well-made windbreaker.
