This pine litter is perfect for dog toilets. I just got a new puppy that was trained to be me. I've never heard of dogs being littered in litter boxes and using pine shavings as filler. I never thought a dog would use a litter box. Well apparently puppies are attracted to it. I buy this with the biggest bag I can find. It is very absorbent and has a pleasant, fresh pine scent. It flies a little when knocked over. I alternate the spots where he urinates/defecates and just replace them with fresh shavings. He is very soft. There may be a few larger pieces of pine here and there, but not many. One day I tried another brand and found that this brand is much better and until I teach him how to go outside I will only be buying these pine shavings.
