The seller marked this item as "genuine leather". The product feels like faux leather to me - the material feels very plasticky, has a distinctly faux "leather" grain texture upon close inspection, has no leather odor and the edges of the material feel hard and plasticky to the touch and look at all not like real leather. I have low expectations for a $10 product but draw a line on possible false deception/scam. Also note that the seller includes cards with instructions on how to get free products from them - ie. in exchange for posting a review
