Wanted to find an inexpensive camera for my young son to take pictures on his upcoming holiday. With a 30-megapixel camera, one hoped for excellent image quality. If you stood perfectly still for a few seconds before taking the shot, the quality wasn't bad. However, if something moves during recording, the quality degrades dramatically. The LCD screen on the back of the camera is difficult to see in sunlight. The sticker on the front of the camera says "anti-shake", but we didn't spot any anti-shake features. Finally, the Revain's description claims to have long battery life, but after a few hours (and without taking pictures the whole time) we started getting low battery warnings. I think for $40 you get what you pay for. Keeping the camera steady while taking the picture isn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend taking pictures in motion or with moving subjects in the frame.
