
2007 Explorer Sport Trac Limited V8 setup is pretty good. The instructions were a bit idiotic in the way they show certain things, the bolt that attaches the shield to the inner fender was too short (I used an M6-20 to replace it), and the hoses that replacing the crankcase breather and brake booster breather, had the wrong ID - I think the K&N hoses are 3/8" and my engine side is 1/2", or they were 1/4 and 3/8. In any case, the hoses are one size smaller. The rest is OK. That sounds good; I get resonance around 2100-2500 rpm but that's the nature of straight intake manifolds. MPG increases by about 1.5-2.5 or so. Pretty happy with all of that.
