They are not well suited to our sandy soils. I hammered them in and then had my 9 year old daughter try to pull them out by hand and she was able to do it with little effort. We have since returned them for a refund. Instead I got a canopy mounting kit from TSC with heavy duty grommets that you screw into the ground. We then tried to pull them out by hand and they wouldn't budge! I used ratchet straps to attach the trampoline to the anchors, we have very high winds here and a wide open field supporting our house.
