Review on 🔧 Delta 17-924 Mortise Attachment Chisel by Mark Bennett

Could be a good product if it didn't break during installation. The cast iron body was completely cracked/fractured/cracked when trying to tighten it on the drill press. BTW I'm a 66 year old male with arthritis in both hands and it broke under my pressure and tightened it with no leverage other than the lever on the tensioner that is part of the mechanism. I'll admit I was a pretty strong man once, but a 1/2 to 5/8 inch piece of cast iron shouldn't break under any human effort. RETURN button. I wonder what that means. I have experienced. You only have 30 days to return this item to the seller. Now I have to go through the warranty process, which probably means paying to ship the 20 pounds of metal back to Delta.
