Most of the shoes I buy are in version 9.5. I used to buy 10s from Fit-Flops or Birkenstocks but had to send them back because they were too big. The reviews were spot on with this one. I bought them 1/2 size smaller than usual. They are perfect. The arch fits my feet in the right place so walking on it is comfortable. As perfect as they are, I don't think I would wear oversized socks with them. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. TO EDIT. It was great for a while but in the short time I had them the shoes ripped open from the inside! The shoes look normal from the outside looking at the heel, but when I wear them I can feel my heels sinking in and rolling out. like I'm about to fall out of my shoes! As warm and beautiful as they are, I do not recommend these shoes for people who have a heavy heel. My Birkenstocks have never done this and I have owned them for many years. To save my investment I'm buying side heel inserts to see if that helps.
