I ordered these shorts because they were very cheap and I am signing up for a Muy Thai class. I used to train at an MMA gym and didn't like how my standard gym shorts (training shorts material) got in the way. My first observation when trying these shorts on was that the material is incredibly comfortable. I was a little worried they wouldn't be flexible enough and would snap when I moved in them, so I put them to my ultimate test, deep squat training. I had torn several shorts doing squats, so I knew this would be a great test of the strength and flexibility of these shorts. Shorts with honor passed the test! They didn't rush at all and didn't feel restrictive. On the inner thigh there is a strip of elastane-like material that allows the shorts to stretch. I would definitely recommend these shorts to anyone who plays sports, not just martial arts. They are comfortable, stylish and durable. My only recommendation is to order a size up. I have a 34 waist so I ordered the big ones and they definitely fit, but they are a bit tight in the waist. However, this once again proves their longevity!
