Has stopped working after 1 year of seasonal use. I bought this igniter for my pellet stove about a year ago. I live in Massachusetts so we use it seasonally. Now the igniter stopped working almost exactly 1 year after installation. Does anyone know if this is the normal life cycle of a detonator? Installation was a bit fiddly but doable. Be careful of your hands on the sharp metal of the plate. My stove had bottlenecks and cut my knuckles several times. (I am a professional, some of the metal in my oven is razor sharp, be careful) I will most likely repurchase this item as it is impractical to manually light the oven and if I am not at home I will not Do it. I don't want children to play with fire.
