Review on πŸ”† Bulbrite 134020: Revive Vintage Appeal with 40W Nostalgic Edison Quad Loop-style Bulb by Adam Grady

The dimensions of the lamp do not correspond to the declared

The brightness of a 40 watt light bulb is about right. I compared it to another Edison bulb I bought from Home Depot and a standard 40 watt bulb I already had. I haven't measured the exact lumens, but when I compare them side by side, the brightness seems to be the same for all bulbs. that's why you pay so much for a lightbulb). At full brightness you can't see the filaments clearly if you look directly at the bulb, but if you're using a bulb in a tinted glass pendant like I did, the tint helps dim the bulb just enough to see the filaments visible even at full brightness. Dimming the lamp is probably a much more elegant solution. My problem with this lamp has to do with its size. The listed "assembled height" of this lamp is 5.75 inches. The lamp doesn't even come close. I measured it's only 4.5 inches. For me it is important if the lamp is to be used without a lampshade in an open direct view application. I was expecting the bulb to be larger, with larger filaments so you can see it from a greater distance. The width of the lamp also deviates slightly from the specification. The stated width is 2.25 inches, I measured it. be 1-2 cm larger. Hope that helps.
