If you are installing a LARGE TV, this is not the best mount. The wall mount isn't very wide, only 30 inches, and the 400mm VESA TV mounts are just under 26 inches wide. Apparently SANUS wanted to save a few cents on steel and doesn't really care about placing the TV in the right place on the wall. You have to be very, very careful when placing the wall mount and even more careful when hanging the TV as you cannot see the wall mount very well when hanging a large TV. The problem is also finding the right combination of screws and gaskets. For me without spacers included with the TV in any way. no way . that I could get the screws that came with the SANUS wall mount to work. If I could do that again I would opt for a wider bracket. especially with a large (82") TV.
