All my buddies bought cheaper and thinner frame guards and complained about the difficult assembly. This is definitely not the case with AMS material. It's thick and easy to position. It doesn't bubble easily but with the black version you can't tell if it bubbles so I suggest buying the clear versions (I bought both for two different bikes). Installation Tip: Position a long down tube on either end, then rub the middle back and forth with your thumb. Head to the edges. Then dry with a hair dryer and neaten the edges again. This ensures a permanent seal. I didn't do this for the seat tube, and in fact I missed a few stains that showed up once I washed the bike.
