I bought this tent to store my mountain bike outside in inclement weather. I also put 5 liter cans of petrol in it. I want them closed but not in a room where they pose a fire hazard. I also use 12V. The winch is protected when I'm not on my truck. It's easy to install, tailor-made for bikes, and protects my gear well. I don't know yet how long it will hold up under the scorching Arizona sun, but so far so good.
