trail camera is definitely new to me. My father-in-law is a fisherman (as a hobby) who enjoys going to the most exotic places in the world to fish. He recently introduced me to some topics about trail cameras and asked me to find the best one because he knows a photographer with a keen interest in photo and video gear. I won't lie, I had to spend some time reading Google and searching YouTube for anything that could be added to my knowledge to find the best gadget. The Trail Cam Pro3 caught my eye and after testing it I think I made the right choice. I was surprised that they don't have any reviews here because there are a lot of them on their websites. The main reason for the tracking camera was: 1. For security reasons - he usually hides in the middle of Revinia, Brazil during his fishing trips so the camera can help in case of an emergency2. Just out of curiosity, attach a camera to a tree in the forest and have it record what animals pass by. For him, it's definitely a better option than an action camera. I've been using it for 2-3 days to see if it's doing its job and I'm happy with all the results. - It was fast in capturing movements and recording events; - It has good quality; - battery life was as expected from a gadget that works pretty much 24/7 - it's extremely easy to set up - great for the 'old boys' - their YT channel has some great info and the new updated user manual was very very explanatory . - I used their free at&t SIM card and loaded it up with a $20 Paygo plan which gives you unlimited messaging and $0.25 a minute (camera doesn't use minutes so it doesn't matter). I think it's called Bold, added my phone number (no +1) and I get MMS on my phone if anything happens. Finally, I think this is the best camera out of the 4 I have so far. and by far the most efficient 3G. Much luck!
