Review on 🚜 Little Tikes Big Digger Sandbox: Dig into Endless Fun with this Exciting Play Set! by Thomas Ramirez

Money well spent :)

I bought this for my son when he was a year old. He is now four years old and we are still happy with it. A few things I learned: When the sandbox lid is closed, do the holes in the bottom opposite the backhoe look like they could take a pole? Drill holes in the ground to allow them to drain, otherwise nasty, smelly, annoying things will happen when it rains. - The lid is not waterproof! It seems yes, but no. - I can't pick it up if it's full. 50 pounds isn't an issue, it's the weight, shape and lack of built-in grip space combined. I might consider putting a tarp underneath this year to carry around and fold up in the rain. I would forego the expense of refilling and just dump it at the end of the season. Mine stayed on the patio all winter in Wisconsin and when I opened it up there was an ugly green layer of pond scum on the sand. My little boy wants to play in the sandpit every day. I thought interest would wane, but not by much.
