Review on AudioSource Sound Bluetooth Speaker White by James Pfettscher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great little popper

I love cheap bluetooth speakers to listen to music from my phone. I was just thinking about finding a more or less weatherproof option for patio use when I saw this gem the other day. The reviews were decent and it was cheap enough for a impulse buy, so I ordered it. It arrived almost immediately and I was very pleased with the size and form factor. The "speaker" grille is plastic and the rest is covered in a slightly sticky (as in sticky) rubber coating, making it easy to hold. It's a little smaller than a baseball, about the size of a typical Christmas decoration. I haven't actually used a suction cup other than attaching it to a glass table or grill to keep it from blowing away, so I don't know if it's effective on a vertical surface. But the most important thing is "How does it sound?” and I give it high marks for that indicator. Keep in mind that this thing is quite small and not very expensive, but the sound is very clear and has an amazing volume. I keep it at about half volume or a little less, which is enough to hear everything on my patio while I play and play around with my dog. I can't say I've played with any other features such as B. skip to next/previous track etc. so I can't comment on that. It seems to charge fairly quickly and will play for hours before the battery dies, making this part feel "as advertised". charging port and that loud, annoying "POP" sound it makes when turning it on and off. You can really scare someone if you sneak up on them from behind and turn them on :-) But since I already knew these things from other reviews, I couldn't complain. So after about a month I'm giving this little gem 4.5 stars overall - good value for money, good buy (for me).
