Very easy to set up. Great suction power! We vacuumed our sofa right away and it was powerful enough to clean everything - hooray! It was also effective on our carpets and hardwood floors - easily removing all the dog hair, crumbs and office scraps that were everywhere. First time we have a vacuum that requires water but it was easy to set up. You just have to get used to emptying it after completion and refilling it before use. It's lightweight and has wheels for easy moving, but be aware that it's a little tall or wide, so plan for a convenient place to store it.
