Just okay. Not great if the staples are flush with the surface

Maybe it's the item i was trying to reupholster but the staples on the chair were very much flush with the surface so I was mostly unable to get this tool under the staple without using a rubber mallet. Once I got it in, it was easy to pull out and I was able to use the grabber portion to clamp down on it to pull out the other side of the staples if I accidentally didn't evenly pull out the staples on both sides at the same time. The handle was comfortable but this would have been a much better tool if the tip of the tool was sharper/flatter to slide under the staples better. I think for my next project using this, I would file down the tip so it's flatter for easier access.
