Samsung Gear VR 2016 version is pretty good. It feels well designed and comfortable. Using it is as simple as inserting the phone and putting it on your head. (You need to install the software first before you can use it, but just plug it into the headset and take it out after a few seconds to see the software if it's not installed. It's a great reminder too that while our smartphones can do wonderful things, it's not quite ready to be a supercomputer in your pocket.I have a Samsung S7 Edge and my phone gets so hot it almost burns my fingers after 20-30 minutes This is crazy I'm sure it's not very good for the life of the phone considering electronics hate heat you can try to cool it down by playing in front of a fan but whatever works sometimes will the video doesn't even show up but the audio keeps playing. It's just a little bit frustrating.Overall it's a pretty darn cool experience for only $20.Not even needed. The touchpad on de The right side is very sensitive (bugs) and the buttons work well. The kit includes an adapter for USB-C and microUSB phones. I want to say that if your phone is the same size, it will fit most phones. but it could be the software that is limiting. UPDATE 20190910: Doesn't fit Samsung Note 8. By that I mean it fits, but it's a headache and VERY HERE. This comes with a USB-C connector but doesn't add any scope. If you order the 2016 version USB adapter, it will add a SMALL game, but it's not enough. I recommend just getting a used 2016 version for less than $30 rather than messing around with the 2015 version. It is not worth. Taking a star off the rating mainly because Samsung didn't anticipate making this headset for future, larger phones and didn't force us to buy more crap.
