I was lazy and didn't want to build the box as I was in a hurry to install a subwoofer. it was great, looked and felt solid. After installation I found that the edge of my sub was on the floor. I shrugged and thought everything would be fine. A few months later I pulled the subwoofer out to clean the truck and since it was on the floor there was no material inside. Now I'm propping it up with some random pads I had. sound is ok. He doesn't hit as hard as I expected. In general, if you have no other options, it's fine. Although I wouldn't buy it again.
