Review on Malida Reverse Osmosis Quick Connect Fittings by Travis Vasquez

Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit. While not a bargain there was still damage because I just noticed a leak, some damage occurred due to the nearby aquarium stand; Luckily I left the storage tank in my unfinished basement. The first leak I noticed was from the bulkhead, possibly because my storage tank is very thick, which is about 1/4 inch. So I added a rubber shim from my garden hose, the bulkhead isn't leaking anymore but the threaded elbow is still leaking so I tried adding some teflon tape, I've done it with 5 rounds, 10 rounds, 15, 20, 25, 30 tries. Of course I also have to empty the bucket and clean the Teflon tape every time I take it off, so far no success. FYI, I'm very handy myself, I hooked up a reverse osmosis system to my basement wall, installed a plastic shelf for the reverse osmosis faucet, and at the same time installed a faucet-connected metal drinking water tank, which I also replaced with a recessed copper pipe icemaker for my fridge on a plastic tube so I can use reverse osmosis water for it. The whole project took only 3 hours. I add this float valve to the rain cover I used to collect the water from my dehumidifier, previously used it for my fish tank. I think reverse osmosis water is much better, so I decided to buy this float valve and expand the capacity of my reverse osmosis system. The initial installation of the float valve was very easy, it took me no more than 10 minutes to connect it; everything worked, drain clogged, tank filled. Until I noticed leaks I still don't want to return it as there is a large charge space left in the battery so I've tried everything I can think of to fix leaks. Tried other threaded elbows included in kit, still flows. Finally, I think the bulkhead ID did not match the thread elbow. I think it's pretty obvious, but I don't understand why none of the other reviewers noticed the leak. Or maybe because I'm just unlucky? Finally, after over 3 hours of frustration, I've decided to return it.
