The outer box was torn but the inner box was fine. When I opened the box to take stock everything seemed to be there, in good condition and individually wrapped in plastic. The first question concerns the plastic "wrench". What is it for? free?), so what should I do with it? Where are the installation instructions? Ouch! . I found the instructions on the side of the box. Quite simply - in my opinion a joke. There are 12 steel washers but the instructions say nothing about how and where to install them. So. I googled how to put hubcaps on big trucks. The guy says take off the two opposite nuts, put the hubcap on the wheel, install the two washers, then reinstall the two opposite nuts. My question. Will tightening these tabs not damage the PLASTIC hubcap? Then how do I put those plastic caps on? just click? Turn? What the hell? The instructions on the side of the box say to push or twist the caps until they hold the hubcap (axle cap) in place. Then my question is why did I remove and reinstall the two opposite nuts to hold them in place? Then I have a question, how should I pack the nut covers? The wrench does not fit the nut caps. This is another example of a seller shirking responsibility for providing proper installation instructions for the product. and see what works best. The product looks very nice but the instructions on how to properly install the kit are terrible and confusing. I give this overall rating 3 stars. I am extremely disappointed. After consulting with a Ryder Truck Rental mechanic, he also wondered if the plastic cap would crack if the nuts were tightened to specification. In order not to take any risks, I decided to return the complete set. I think this could have been avoided if steel washers had been mentioned in the product description. I am very disappointed in the way this product was described. I don't want to risk breaking/cracking the cover when I retighten the nuts. this is not a pipe dream. Buyer Warning.
