Review on Xiaomi Mi ANC Type-C In-Ear Earphones by Jihu Gim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Personally, it seems to me that such headphones can only be recommended because of active noise cancellation for little money. The sound is nothing special, Type-C does not seem convenient with a minijack. There are small oddities and jambs. Has some pros - The sounder is working. Extinguishes only bass rumble, ie. the engine of a conditional bus is audible, just the low-frequency noise itself does not block the music, as if it lays ears, but only in relation to the bass noise. - The microphone is not bad according to the interlocutors. - I don’t really like the sound, but I didn’t expect anything from headphones with active noise reduction for this money. After good open headphones in a noisy environment, anything would please me, which would allow me to listen to music in transport. - The kit is quite rich: in addition to regular nozzles, there are three more different sizes; there is a bag for carrying; there are "cases", which will be discussed below. In general, very nicely packaged. - Wire before splitting into headphones in a fabric braid. Perhaps this will increase the durability of the headphones, although I have never frayed the wires. Has some cons - After splitting, unbraided wires go to the headphones. Any grabbing, rubbing with wire, etc. noticeable noise in the headphones themselves. The instructions called it "microphonics caused by the cord" and advised to put on the headphones complete "covers" that should reduce these noises and further stabilize the headphones in the ears. If they help, then not much, but in the process of operation they constantly move out. - They can be short-lived, so to speak. There were several times when I took off my jacket and the sound jammed, the food was loud, and I had to reconnect the headphones. I let a person listen without disconnecting the headphones from the phone, so from a static discharge between our hands they stopped working until I reconnected them. Perhaps the problem is with the phone. I have never used Type-C headphones on it before. - The Type-C connector is still inconvenient, especially if there is a minijack. If the wires begin to twist, then it will not be possible to fix this by rotating the plug in the socket. Also, on OnePlus 5 and 5T, you need to turn on OTG before each connection of the headphones, if you have not used them for 10 minutes before. - There is no noticeable wire kink protection in the plug area. Doesn't look very reliable. And it is straight, for some this may be a minus, although if the connector is located on the end of the phone, then the L-shaped plug will only increase the kinks of the wire. - At the time of purchase (somewhere on February 16), a problem was discovered with the Telegram application: when making a call, the application did not use the headset microphone, preferring the phone microphone. At the same time, audio messages were recorded normally. In other applications (for example, in WhatsApp and a standard dialer), the microphone works correctly.
