It took me a few times to get used to it but now I will never go back! So soft! In fact, at first it seems like you're rubbing a piece of soft foam into your teeth. You expect the bristles to have a "toothbrush" feel, but you get none of it! It's different but so cool! My teeth seem clean and I use less toothpaste. Due to the nature of the bristles, the paste foams up a bit and you need less. Just an added bonus as these brushes are really good! Make sure you brush them well, really spread the bristles underwater so any stuck toothbrush is rinsed clean. If you or your child have sensory issues, be sure to try it! They hardly look like a toothbrush and have really helped my kids! I feel like I'll notice a little wear quicker than regular brushes but don't worry too much I don't notice a change in cleaning ability and they are reasonably priced so I don't worry about replacing them.
