Why do they stop working?

I bought this Keurig hoping it would last longer than the standard products you buy at Walmart. I was wrong. I've had this thing for over 2 years now, it stopped working in October 2019 and since then I've been trying to figure out how to clean it/refill/whatever to get it working. It changed from a drop of water to sounds like a child pretending to drive a car. Sounds like a motor, but you're not going anywhere. Same here, makes all the noise but nothing. I hooked this up to the pipeline with a built in filter (so I don't have to keep refilling the tank. I liked it when it arrived but after it started to slow down and then nothing. The tank fills up like it should If you empty it, and if you empty the hot and cold water tanks and plug it back in, the internal tanks will fill up. But it just won't spit out hot water to brew a cup no matter what. Obviously, I'm out of warranty and the only thing I can get from the support team is to state that fact. Does anyone know where I can find a bunn that will stick to the lines I installed? Update: Keurig contacted me. I got an email saying they are sorry for my troubles and sorry to inform me the warranty period has expired please i know the warranty period has expired please tell me where I can request a repair. Hopefully you'll be using better parts than you used to make the thing. I can't believe a company would be so rude as to email you to apologize for not working, say the warranty has expired and then offer absolutely no options for repairs. Are we so far from caring about the environment that you prefer consumers to just throw it away and buy another? Well, I think I had it with Keurig and their lack of concern for the customer, the environment, and how people view their products. Seriously, if you really want a good coffee maker, look Bunn, don't even think about it. Kerig.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
