Updated rating: Downgraded to 1 star. I should have listened to other reviewers complaining about this thing breaking their screen. This just happened to me on a 13" MacBook Pro. The crack is just starting at the corner of the cam lock. Something is wrong with this design. I had an earlier version that was more oval, it was thicker, but I use it is Been on the same machine for 3 years and never had a problem This thin device surprisingly kills the screen Initial rating (4 stars): C-Slide used to do really good design but I think too much plastic is used The version is flimsy although you don't need thick/durable plastic for this purpose but when closed and opened it feels a bit wrong and wobbly It seems safe for a MacBook Pro Have been in use for 2 weeks and no problem. can smash the screen with that thing. The previous version was even bulkier and still had no issues on another MacBook Pro. Did I help you with this review? :)
