Review on Munchkin Pressure Stairs Hallways MK0006 022 by Crystal Reed

I would like to clarify my assessment. The goal itself is well made and works as it should, arrived well packaged etc. My review is intended to serve as a guide for anyone weighing the pros and cons of similar sized alternative children's goals. I have a Safety 1st and a Regalo baby gate and my least favorites about this Munchkin are the auto-close feature and the push hardware. The auto close is very annoying when trying to hold a child, balancing their stuff and letting the dogs through. You have to lift the gate to open or close it, and you can't just open it early; very annoying for me personally. The hardware requires a special wrench (included) to turn a bolt on each of the bolts that go into the gate. My other brands have built in parts that can be used to rotate the hardware and attach it to the walls, but there's one more thing I need to keep in mind with this gate. You might be wondering how often you have to worry about removing and replacing gates, which is probably rare for most. However, I have found that I have to take it off and put it back on at least 3 times and every time I have to put it back on the wrench it annoys me because I have to find it and also functionally try to tighten the screw with no clearance turning square very frustrating; keeps getting out of hand. As a result, the goal is solid and not a bad goal, but I personally prefer a different functionality!
