Review on Thickened Recliner Slipcover Furniture Protector by Kristina Brooks

Over 10 years ago we purchased a La-Z-Boy furniture set for our family room in a durable chocolate brown microfiber suede. A few moves, lots of shedding, dogs (including a barn factory pug) and sticky little hands aren't going to die. Even though I've had to brush and vacuum it regularly, it's still in great shape. Still looks minty, gives or takes a few scratches along the armrests, still comfortable, still very dark chocolate brown. I can't bring myself to buy new furniture if the old ones are in perfect condition. However, I wanted to make it easier for myself. some furniture and also saved myself some fat for next time someone decides to use the furniture as doilies. I decided to try the chair cover. I love that it comes in 4 separate parts! How clever! It took less than 5 minutes to wrap all the parts around the chair. Also, when I take the chair out to wash it, how easy it will be not to wash a large, bulky cover! stretch the bottom of the chair back, but maybe that's because I didn't use the elastic straps properly. I bought the white and it's a nice light white, not cream or beige. It is white. That's exactly what I wanted. The fabric covers the dark brown nicely. I can still see the brown fabric where the armrests meet the back of the chair, but that doesn't bother me. The fabric is as soft as a shirt and I think I'll wash/dry on gentle cycle just in case. I will update my reviews if it doesn't hold up to the wash. As it comes in 4 separate pieces I will be buying 3 more of these to use on my sofa. The matching sofa sleeps 3 with adjustable ends. This should work well to finally give me a slipcover to match my daybed! Aha! I need to cut a hole for the left side arm but to be able to take the sofa apart and wash the covers instead of washing the sofa and waiting for it to dry before anyone approaches it. Don't expect new pads, it's clearly a cover. But on the other hand, it will be much easier to clean, it will change the look of the room, and it will be easy to throw all the parts in the washing machine. I'm looking for a meter stick and attaching a picture. Please ignore the toys/clutter. And no, I wasn't paid for the review and I didn't get anything for free. How do I get things for free? I like free things. UPDATE: I have purchased 3 more chair covers to cover our 3 seater chaise lounge and I am happy to report that it worked really well. I had to tie ropes in the back so the bottom of the back didn't look perfect, but since the sofa faces the wall, this works great for us.
