Don't hesitate to try the hard drive within 30 days of receipt, because I was satisfied when I received it and have programmed. this is what i wanted and at first it worked great and when i had a few things that didn't take up much space but when i had it a few days later when i put a decent game on it i heard a faint grinding noise and it was so bad i felt my pc case vibrating and at first i thought it was ok maybe it only did it once and it stopped no it kept getting louder and now the hard drive didnt seem to show up though I didn't fiddle with cables or anything. Now I understand that if you read these reviews and find some of the reviews bad, but not this particular drive, I won't do it. The reason I'm writing a bad review is because my hard drive is the drive I received was bad, now there is another hard drive in stock under that manufacturer, or the seller may have hard drives that are in stock and working great and are fine. It's just a chance that mine turned out to be bad.
