I am so claustrophobic that wearing a necklace would cause panic if I didn't take it off on the first try. That being said, I never thought I could snorkel. The idea of keeping my jaw clenched to hold the mouthpiece and the possibility of drops of water seeping into the mask I'm already afraid of suffocating my face with. A friend suggested I look for a full face snorkel mask and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. We were planning a trip to Dry Tortugas and snorkeling was highly recommended. Upon receipt, I practiced a bit in the tub to make sure it was comfortable and snug against my face. Finding the right mask size was easy - your guide is right there! Dual strap adjustment couldn't be simpler. Not a drop of water seeped in and no fogging occurred. Several waves crashed against the snorkel and its design prevented me from blowing water out of the bay - it took a few breaths before I could easily inhale and exhale again as it did its job of keeping the water out, but so easily. My jaw was relaxed and I didn't have to worry about gripping one of the mouthpieces. The professional mount option requires little effort and isn't exactly practical unless you're just shooting video. Every time you take a picture, hoping it's in the right position to take a picture is just a chore. I cannot recommend this mask more highly!
