Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Efficient and Precise Printing with WINSINN Aluminum Sensor Printer Extruder by Robert Aiono

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well, E3D doesn't crack.

The surface treatment of the heater block looks a little rough but works well and works no better or worse than the E3D. I really don't understand the Crybaby reviews complaining about burrs on the heater block pin threads and other issues with installing the cartridge heater. Simply take a small screwdriver to pry out the burrs and use the same screwdriver as leverage to widen the slot on the heater block to install the cartridge. the ones offered by Micro Swiss) and a good thermal compound for the side of the heatsink (I use a silver based CPU compound because it avoids weakening the heatsink). I won't pay $28 for a couple of flimsy pieces of E3D aluminum. It doesn't look like E3D has ever invested in improving the reliability of V6 hot-end components for those who need to change injectors frequently. Not to mention that the really fragile E3D thermistor wiring is prone to breakage (right on the edge where the wires come out of the metal case). Honestly I don't see any difference in performance between stock and traditional heater blocks or thermistors. So while the price is acceptable and it works, I buy. Better than being hollowed out by E3D!
